Why are you a Fraternity instead of a Sorority?
Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. was created to provide a Bruhood/Brotherhood-centered space for masculine-identified women and FTM transgender men. Our identity, language, and structure reflect our culture, purpose, and commitment to developing Omicron Kings.
What is an Omicron Boi/Boy?
An Omicron Boi/Boy is a masculine-identified individual who may identify as a tomboy, soft stud, stud, butch, AG, or FTM transgender man.
An Omicron Boi/Boy embodies our core values of:

How do I become a member of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc.?
Step 1: Submit an Interest Application
Complete and submit an Interest Application through the Membership section of our website. Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements.
Step 2: Get to Know the Bruhood
Qualified applicants will be contacted by a member of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. During this phase, prospective members will have opportunities to interact and build relationships with members through phone calls, virtual meetings, social media, and in-person gatherings when feasible.
Step 3: Invitation to Intake
Once both the organization and the prospective member determine that Kappa Omega Omicron is a good fit, an invitation may be extended to participate in the current membership intake process.
Step 4: Interview & Membership Education Process
Applicants who successfully complete the interview process will begin our educational membership intake process. During this period, members learn our history, traditions, expectations, leadership principles, and service commitments.
Successful completion of the intake process results in full membership.
What is the ethnicity of this organization?
Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. is a multicultural organization. Our Bruhood/Brotherhood knows no color, and we welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Can I become a member if I am younger than 19 or older than 40?
Applicants must be at least 19 years of age to become members.
Individuals under 19 may participate in our J.O.M.P. — Junior Omicron Mentoring Program.
We proudly welcome our seasoned brothers age 40 and older. The Omega Omicron Chapter provides a space for members who are graduates of life and continue to serve, mentor, and lead within our organization.
I've heard negative things about Greek organizations. What should I believe?
As with any organization, individual actions do not define the entire group.
We encourage prospective members to conduct their own research, ask questions, engage with our members, and determine whether our values align with their own. Membership in any organization should be a thoughtful, lifelong commitment.
Do you have an Anti-Hazing Policy?
Absolutely.
Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. maintains a strict zero-tolerance anti-hazing policy.
We believe individuals do not need to be humiliated, degraded, or harmed to grow. Our membership process is educational, developmental, and challenging, with an emphasis on leadership, accountability, teamwork, and personal growth.
Members may participate in projects, assignments, and activities designed to strengthen character and foster unity.

Are there financial obligations associated with membership?
Yes. Prospective members are responsible for application, processing, and initiation fees. Active members are responsible for quarterly and/or annual membership dues.
Detailed financial information is provided during the membership process.
What are membership fees used for?
Membership and intake fees help support:
- Membership education activities
- Crossing Weekend expenses
- Organizational programming and events
- Administrative and operational expenses
- Leadership development initiatives
A portion of intake fees may be used to offset costs associated with Crossing Weekend accommodations, meals, and commemorative items.
Are membership fees refundable?
No.
All application, intake, and membership fees are non-refundable.
Individuals who voluntarily withdraw or are removed from the membership process must reapply and restart the process if they seek membership at a later date. Fees paid will not be rolled over.
Can I start a chapter in my city?
Yes. We are always excited to expand our Bruhood/Brotherhood and welcome individuals interested in establishing chapters in their communities.
How many members are needed to start a chapter?
Only one dedicated individual is needed to begin the process. Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. will provide guidance, support, and resources to help establish and grow the chapter.
What colleges are you affiliated with?
Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. is a non-collegiate, community and social service-based organization.
Although we may establish collegiate chapters in the future, our commitment to non-collegiate membership will always remain central to our mission.
Will I be required to travel?
Yes. Members should expect occasional travel for Crossing Weekend, leadership retreats, conferences, conventions, and other official organizational events.
Do I have to practice a particular religion to join?
No. We do not discriminate based on religious affiliation. While Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. is rooted in a strong faith-based foundation and guided by the love and teachings of Jesus Christ, individuals of all faith backgrounds are welcome.
Can I join if I already belong to another Greek-letter organization?
Individuals who are currently members of another LGBTQ+ Greek-letter organization are not eligible for membership.
However, individuals who belong to Divine Nine, multicultural, ethnic, professional, or service organizations may be eligible for membership, subject to organizational guidelines.
Can I be a member while serving in the military?
Absolutely. We proudly support and honor those who serve our country and communities. Military members and veterans are encouraged to apply.
Is a background check required?
Yes. All applicants are subject to a background review before acceptance into the membership process.

Intake Requirements
Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. seeks individuals committed to leadership, Bruhood/Brotherhood, service, personal growth, and community empowerment.
Membership within Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. requires active participation and consistent engagement within the fraternity and community.
Applicants should demonstrate stability, ambition, professionalism, integrity, accountability, respect, and a commitment to personal development consistent with the values and mission of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc.
Must be at least 19 years of age.
Must possess a GED or High School Diploma.
Must identify within the organization’s membership eligibility guidelines as a masculine-identifying woman, trans man, or approved gender-expansive identity aligned with the fraternity’s mission.
Must complete and sign all required confidentiality and intake agreements.
Must provide three professional references.
Must complete a minimum of 12 hours of qualifying community service prior to selection.
Must complete and submit all required application materials to the National Headquarters of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc.
Must successfully complete the interview and voting process with a ¾ passing vote.
Must provide a three-year plan outlining personal, professional, and organizational goals.
Must demonstrate leadership potential, discipline, growth, and qualities beneficial to the organization.
Must attend a minimum of two functions hosted or represented by Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc.
Must be willing to actively participate in chapter, regional, and national activities.
Must support the organization through fundraising initiatives, dues, and other approved financial obligations.
Must satisfy all financial requirements prior to entering the official membership process.
Must adhere to all policies, procedures, standards, and expectations established by Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc.
Intake Process & Conduct
The intake process of Kappa Omega Omicron Fraternity Inc. is designed to promote unity, discipline, accountability, resilience, leadership development, and Bruhood/Brotherhood among prospective members.
The intake process may include structured team-building activities, leadership development exercises, accountability measures, and fraternity traditions designed to promote unity, discipline, resilience, and brotherhood.
